Abstract


School children constitute a large segment of it's population, school children are a vulnerable group from the health point of view, because they are exposed to many stress as physical, emotional and biological stress at home and school. They are kept for along time for in school and can easily be affected by the sanitary standard of school environment (Nies etal 2009).


Young children are affected with chronic disease that affected their quality of life, asthma is one of the commonest chronic disease, it characterized by chronic inflammatory diseases of the air ways that causes recurrent episodes of coughing, wheezing shortness of breathing or breath- lessness and a light felling in chest, particularly at night and in the early morning exposure to ''triggers'' such as viral infections, allergens, strong fumes, cold air, and exercise, so that the air way becomes narrower( Allender & spredly 2007).


The centers of disease control (CDC) reported that, asthma is a chronic illness among children and youth in the United States. In the year 2006, 1-5 million-aged children and youth were reported to currently have asthma and
3.2 million had an asthma episode or attach within the previous year. The CDS reported also that on average in a classroom at 30 children about 3 are likely to have asthma (Centers For Disease Control and Prevention, 2008).
