Abstract

Abstract
Objective:
Intravenous fluids is the most challenging step in the treatment of patients with septic shock, that needs continuous monitoring of hemodynamics and response feedback . The study was structured to assess the efficacy of ultrasonographically measured inferior vena cava collapsibility index (IVC-CI) in comparison to the traditional central venous pressure (CVP) in guiding fluid management in septic patients.
