Abstract


ere, in this systematic review; cemented and uncemented UKAs have been shown overall comparable outcomes as regards Cemented UKA has demonstrated good clinical and functional long-term outcomes. However, the commonest reasons for revision surgery in the cemented UKA include aseptic loosening, component dissociation, and pain accompanying routinely noticed radiolucencies surrounding the tibial component. Whereas excellent clinical short-term results for cementless UKA are approved although the elevated risk of impingement and malalignment.
