Estimation of cut off points of the Arabic version of CERAD

Walaa Hasan Mancy Hasan Yusif;

Abstract

The continuously growing elderly population worldwide is expected to be associated with increase prevalence of cognitive impairment which mandates screening for early stages of cognitive impairment to help delay or prevent complications if possible.
Consortium to Establish a Registry for Alzheimer's disease (CERAD) was created to establish a standardized neuropsychological assessment of Alzheimer's disease. It’s short, easy to perform and useful in evaluating elderly patients with dementia, including those with very mild cognitive symptoms.
