Study the Determinants of local Private Investment in Egypt, and its Impact on the Dairy Industry

Abstract

The subject of the study is about studying the determinants of local private investment in Egypt, and recognizing the degree of its effects on the local private investment that can be applied to the Dairy Industry, Also the study handled the effect of the local private investment on some of Macroeconomic indicators.

This study discusses the importance of some economic factors that affect the local private investment such as: Gross domestic product and its growth rate, credit climate, public investment, institutional environment inside country, and security and political stability during the period (1997-2008). Also the study clarifies the importance of the local private investment role in the economic development process through tracking the impact of the local private investment on some economic variables such as Gross Domestic product growth rate, per capita GDP, and export values. This study aims to illustrate the impact of internal investment determinants in one of industrial sectors in Egypt, the Dairy products sector, to find out the extent of its contribution in satisfying market demand, and its impact on the Employment and export. To achieve this, the study followed the descriptive microeconomic approach by doing questioner submitted for sample of Dairy products companies .
