Relationship between Motivational Factor and Job Autonomy among Staff Nurses

Abstract


Early research has demonstrated that intrinsic motivation is an important driving factor to promote individuals to learn and achieve their goals. It enhanced employees’ working engagement, performance, job satisfaction, and creativity. Employees with intrinsic motivation deeply involved in their tasks, strive to learn new skills, and continually improve their creativity. They often consider their work as interesting or fascinating, which brings them happiness and satisfaction.
This study aimed at Investigate the relationship between the motivational factors and job autonomy among staff nurses.
A descriptive correlational design was used in carrying out this study Witch was conducted at a general hospital in Kafrelshikh governorate namely Sidy Salem which affiliated to ministry of health and bed capacity is 204 beds. It consists of two buildings. The first building associated with emergency, surgical and critical care unit. The second building associated with medical and pediatric department. Subjects of the study included 150 staff nurses out of 256 working at the aforementioned setting.
