Abstract


Modified radical mastectomy is that the most generally used surgery to treat operable carcinoma . Modified radical mastectomy may be a sort of mastectomy that mixes the removal of all breast tissue from the affected breast with lymph gland removal from the armpit on the affected side of the body includes the removal of both the nipple and areola (Veronesi et al., 2014)
Aim of the Study
This study aimed to determine the quality of life for the client with modified radical mastectomy at home through:
1. Assessing the quality of life domains for clients with modified radical mastectomy.
2. Assessing clients' knowledge about care after a modified radical mastectomy.
3. Assessing clients' practices toward care after modified radical mastectomy.
4. Assessing health needs and problems of clients with modified radical mastectomy.
