Women knowledge regarding colposcopy

Abstract
Background: in Egypt gynecological morbidity is high as a result of lack of women knowledge about screening tests as colposcopy.Purpose: to assess women knowledge regarding colposcopy.Design: descriptive study design. The tools of data collection were structured interviewing Arabic Questionnaire Sheet Setting: the study conducted at early cancer detection unit Ainshams University.Subject: 200 women attended at early cancer detection unit (Ainshams University).Results: showed that 76% of women who are included in the study had unsatisfactory knowledge about colposcopy. Recommendations: Developing & disseminating educational material to raise and upgrade the awareness of women about the importance of colposcopy.
