Abstract

Nowadays the multifunction product has wide interest; whereas polyester fabric has a price cheap than natural fabric so it can achieve high effect according to its properties but hydrophobic nature still disadvantage; so silk like polyester is an important trend for the textile industry by modification fabric.
To reach the specific goal which create a novel properties; the following steps were done:
1. Polyester fabric was selected
2. Test wettability after hydrolysis of polyester fabric using sodium hydroxide via microwave irradiation and conventional technique
3. Test wettability after treated (untreated and hydrolyzed polyester fabrics) with zinc oxide dissolved in 4% acetic acid via microwave and conventional technique
4. Dyeing of (untreated polyester, hydrolyzed polyester, treated untreated polyester fabrics with ZnO and treated hydrolyzed polyester fabrics with ZnO) with disperses dye using (C.I. Disperse Blue 56) via microwave irradiation and conventional technique. It was observed the color strength of dyeing hydrolyzed polyester fabrics using microwave technique (K/S 26.59) is higher than conventional technique (K/S 24.45), whereas the blank was (K/S 21.91).
