Abstract


Leadership practices are crucial and main concern of health care organizations around the world. The effective head nurses' leadership practices is required to retain the nurses in the long run, improves the quality care and outcomes. Moreover, the effective head nurses' leadership practices play an initial role in improving work environment, increasing nurses' satisfaction, controlling the nurses turnover which positively reflect the quality of patient care (Afzal, et al., 2019). Moreover, feedback is essential element for head nurses' leadership practices development. For today's organization creating and maintain a high performing culture is a critical concern for organization striving to maintain performance, providing accurate and relevant feedback is a key issue. The most valuable tool for providing feedback to head nurses is 360 degree feedback. 360 degree feedback has become one of the most significant innovations in leadership development (Chappelow, et al., 2020).
