Abstract


Hemodialysis is the most common method used to treat advanced and permanent kidney failure. Although it becomes better procedures for most patients, it still a complicated therapy that requires a coordinated effort from whole health care team, including nephrologists, dialysis nurse, dialysis technician, dietitian, and social worker. Nephrology nurse works collaboratively with patients with renal disease over long periods of time, and assist them to manage their health problems to reduce morbidity and improve functional status (Wally and Swahnm, 2010).
Today, due to increasing life expectancy, chronic diseases are considered as a primary health problem, as affected people have to change their role from healthy individuals with a normal life to that of patients with life-long diseases requiring permanent medical care (Wells, 2011).
This study aimed to improve self-car for client’s with hemodialysis through their knowledge and practices towards health problems related to stress and activities of daily living.
