Abstract
he neonate intensive care unit nurse has an important role in caring of the premature specially: position of the premature neonates, In order to improve the medical condition during situations of hospitalization. The nursing staff which, among others, is responsible for the majority of care provided to infants, must have knowledge about how positioning in bed can influence the frequency of arousals, in the period of development in which most changes occur (Tristao et al., 2015).
Aim of the study:
The study aimed to compare the effect of lateral versus supine position on breathing patterns among premature neonates
Research Questions:
1. What is the effect of lateral position on breathing patterns among premature neonates?
2. What is the effect of supine position on breathing patterns among premature neonates?
3. What is the different between lateral versus supine position on breathing patterns among premature neonates?
