The adverse effects of sofosbuvir and ribavirin on the developing mice embryos

Abstract


The present work on male and female adult albino mice and developing mice embryos investigated the adverse effect of Sofosbuvir (SFV) and/or Ribavirin (RBV). In this work the following studies were morphological and histological studies as mice were divided into 8 adult male groups, 8 adult female groups and 8 developing mice embryo groups, 10 mice in each group, as following: (GI) Control, Group II: SFV 1.64 mg/mouse/day, Group III: SFV 4.39 mg/mouse/day, Group IV: RBV 0.2065 mg/mouse/day, Group V: RBV 0.856
