Abstract
This thesis introduces the modeling of longitudinal motion of aircraft system using Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Interference System (ANFIS), Cuckoo Search Algorithm (CSA), Artificial Neural Network (ANN) and system identification (SI). It also presents the control design of the aircraft system via applying Model Predictive Controllers (MPCs) and Proportional Integral (PI) controller. Matlab / Simulink have been used to simulate the obtained models and the designed control strategy. The priority of applying ANFIS method and model predictive controllers for pilot stick control in the studied longitudinal motion of aircraft system.
