Abstract

atient satisfaction is defined as a subjective evaluation of the health service received against client’s expectations (Nabbuye-Sekandi et al., 2011).
It is principally based on evaluating seven health service dimensions: general satisfaction, technical quality, interpersonal aspects, communication, financial aspects, time spent with doctor, and the ease of contact or availability (World health organization, 2008).
Despite this, the concept and the methodology of assessing patient satisfaction are still underdeveloped in most developing countries (Almoajel et al., 2014).
The satisfaction of the healthcare workers and the consequences of their satisfaction are good indicators of the quality and well-being of workers’ life. Job satisfaction study is particularly important in the service management field. Job satisfaction affects the services given to health care consumers. Job satisfaction is one of the cornerstones elements used to evaluate health care services provided in the health institution. Recently, the role of the individuals working in health institutions is very important for reaching the institutions’ goals. The presence of motivated health workers who are highly satisfied with their job and their manager increases the quality of provided services (Peiro’ et al., 2004).
