Effects of Nursing care on maternal & fetal outcome among Mothers with Pregnancy Induced Hypertension in Assuit University Hospital

Abstract
Pregnancy induced hypertension is a common maternal disease is the second causes of Maternal death national 15.9% in Assiut 24. 1% Abdullah (1992) that may endanger the life of pregnant mother.or fetus proper antenatal care has proved to be of great value in improving the out come of pregnancies complicated by PIH. On other hand. The nursing Role in planning and providing care for PIH mother is very effective.
Thus the aim of this study was to investigate the effect of Nursing care on the pregnancy induced Hypertensive mother during antenatal period on Maternal and fetal pregnancy out comes.
The sample studied consisted of two groups of pregnancy induced hypertensive mothers one and one control group each group consisted of
50 patients.
The institution from which the subjects were Recruited from Assiut university hospitals that provide almost free Medical care to all people the setting of this hospital was the antenatal clinic and in patient section
The methods of data collection were interviewing the Mothers initial and Repeated maternal and fetal assessments and evaluation of Maternal and fetal out comes during delivery until discharge.
At repeated visits which were done twice per week, the investigator carried out her nursing care plan for experimental group while control
group received routine hospital care and the investigator visited the
mother to evaluate the progress of the disease Data collection tools
utilized were demographic Recording sheet, initial and Repeated maternal assessment sheet, and evaluation sheet for Mothers and new born infant during delivery. All sheet were designed by the investigator.
