Abstract

The amphibolite is found as small exposures in the area (east Gebel Shianite), as elongate fragments wirhin the deformed rocks (defoinied quaii^-dioritc and deformed ^ranodiorite). The contacts belween an-] phi bo lite and other rocks arc sharp Hie arc granitoid rocks occur as large exposures in the area (south part of Gebel Nitatai, Gebel Atous, Gebel Alresia, Gebel Shianite, and north part of Gebel Seiga). They include massive quarlz-diorite, deformed quartz-dionte, massive granodionte and deformed granodionte
