GENOTYPE AND PHENOTYPE CORRELATION IN GLUCOSES -6- PHOSPHATE DEHDROGENASE DEFICIENCY
Reham AbdEI Aleem Mohamed;
Abstract
Glucose s-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficiency is the most common erythroenzyniopathy affecting around 400 million people worldwide, and the inheritance pattern is sex linked.
1 lp ID now. over 400 variants of C6PD have been distinguished on the basis of biochemical characterization of the deficienr en/ynic. Th? normal wiJd-tj'pc enzyme is G6PD
