EZZUDIN SHOAIP MOHAMED ALI;

Abstract

Olive is one of the most important oleaginous crop all over the world. The olive tree (Olea europaea ,L ) is prehistoric. Its real origin has been still a matter of conjecture. In fact, we may consider the Mediterranean Sea and its surroundings as the home of the olive (Fernandez, 1971).The olive has been for millenia the most important oleaginous crop of the Mediterranean basin, where 95% of the cultivated
world area occurs ( Trujillo et al. 1995
