Abstract


n the end-stage of chronic renal insufficiency the function of many organ systems deteriorates. The function of the central nervous system (CNS) deteriorates also, sometimes in an early stage of the
disease. Symptoms of CNS dysfunction are non- specific and may show daily fluctuations.
