Abstract


Salmonellosis is primarily a zoonosis and intervention is possible at any stage from farm to fork. As it is well known Salmonella has a wide range of host of food animals. • Either camel or ostrich meat, representing two classes of human consumer could play role in food poisoning through contamination or infection with salmonellae.• So, the present study was planned to include both of camel and ostrich. A total of 300 samples (200 camels and 100 ostrich samples) were studied
for salmonelosis.
