WALAA SAYED MOHAMMAD MOHAMMAD;
Abstract
Osteitis pubis is defined as a painful, inflammatory, nonirtfectious condition ttf ihc symphysis pubis and surrounding structures. Osteitis pubis in athletes is an old problem and its aetiology is still the subject of debate. The purpose of rhc study was to compare the isokinctic torques for the trunk flexors/cxtensors, hipfl ex ors^ex tensors, and hip abductors/ad due tors muscle groups in osteitis pubis
soccer players with that of normal athlete soccer players. Twenty osteitis pubis (OP)
soccer players, and twenty healthy male soccer players (control group) participa'.ed
in the study. The hip muscles groups (flexors, extensors, abductors, adductors) and
trunk muscles for all both groups were tesr.ed in a random order.
