Abstract

The present study describes the experimental results involving preparation of inactivated PPR vaccines using 2 different inactivators (BE! and formalin) and 2 different adjuvants (Alhydragc! and mineral oil). Quality control tests revealed that each of the four prepared vaccines were free from foreign contaminants, safe and inununogenic for sheep and goats Studies of the inaclivation curve of PPR virus showed that a complete inactivation with 3% of 0.1 mol BEI, was obtained after 3 hours at 37°C while 1:4000 formalin caused a complete inactivation oi the virus after 36
hour*! at 37"C
