Central business Area in Roksey

Abstract

The study aims to definite of trade and business around Roksey square which to render a shopping service to New Egypt district. It deals with definition central business in roksey via standardized method through multi stages by using method of Murphy and vans. Central area in Roksey complementary with the main central business district in Cairo City (the area which find between three squares; Ramses sq., Tahreer sq. and Attaba sq.). - The study treats effect of commercial use about ecology, other uses and relationship between study area and main business district in Cairo and planning of central business district in Roksey. - The study cleared through definition of central trade, business area in Roksey that it sites in south east Roksey square (by central business district index "CBDI", central business height Index "CBHI"). - The study recommended replanning CBD in Roksey and its integration with main CBD in Cairo.
