• - Settlement Diffusion in Desert Hinterland of Edwa District –Minya Governorate Applied Study

Abstract
-This study related with michanism settlement diffusions from narrow valley of river Nile into desert land special after construction of desert reclimalion villages in 1960. The state carried out modern national projects such as; villages of desert hinterland 2006, desert highway Assuit –Cairo and constructed roads between Nile valley and desert hinterland.
This research aims to:
- Study settlement diffusion pattern to desert land and decreasing population in Nile valley.
- Conclude a simulation model as population, settlement diffusion pattern not only on level of study area but also on governorates of valley which have adesert hinter land.
- Put a collection of recommendations to make desert areas more attractive for population.
