Regionalism in the writings of Professor Dr. Fathi Musalhi

Abdelkawe, Mohamedabdelsalam;

Abstract

It is noticeable that the regional writings of Professor Dr. Fathy Musalhi were somewhat late compared to the specialized writings of the author who gave the urban development of Cairo, the geography of urban and built-up Egyptians, the map of political forces, and Arab national security the bulk of his attention at the beginning of his writing and publications. This was the period of the eighties and nineties, and he did not address regionalism during that period except timidly in his book Research in the Geography of Egypt, Anglo-Egyptian Distribution, 1991. This period was dominated by methodological courses such as political geography and human geography.
