Abstract
Ain Shams University is located spatially with its educational institutions in three governorates, and is spreading and is still expanding as bright spots on the map not only of Greater Cairo but also on the map of the new republic.
Ain Shams University started from the Saffron building and expanded in the Abbassia area and spread throughout Cairo's neighborhoods to extend from the eastern Abbassia area (Waili neighborhood) to the Heliopolis neighborhood as well as the First Section neighborhood of Nasr City.
It also extended in Qalyubia Governorate, whether in the flood plain in Shubra or the desert extension in Obour City, as well as the Faculty of Teaching Staff Club on the Nile in Zamalek Island. It is worth noting that Ain Shams University had a branch in Zagazig and included the Faculty of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine until it became independent in 1974. Ain Shams University institutions are expanding and spreading to reach Marsa Matrouh Governorate, and the hope is pinned on the expansion of Ain Shams University with its cultural, enlightening and research weight, so lands were allocated to the university in the new administrative capital To contribute to the strong support of the new republic. The university now includes nineteen colleges and a graduate institute, 220,614 undergraduate students, 20,540 graduate students, and 5,890 foreign students. It has 9,938 faculty members. The university is moving towards the new republic to become a global competitive advantage within the framework of an innovative system in education, research, knowledge, and community service.
