Abstract


Social Sustainability (SS) refers to a society's ability to maintain and improve the well-being of its current and
future generations. It focuses on inclusivity, equality, human rights, and community development. The core elements
of social sustainability include access to resources, participation in decision-making, and the development of
social cohesion. It is critical to have a solid method of monitoring the progress of Social sustainability to achieve
Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Identification of monitoring frameworks suitable for SS Tools for
measuring Social Sustainability, such as Surveys, Interviews, and Focus Groups: These tools are vital for capturing
qualitative insights and fostering community participation. Social Indicators such as Employment Rates and Social
Inclusion provide measurable benchmarks for SS progress.
