Abstract
The need for aeroponics was increased after facing the problems of soil-born diseases, the low plant density in hydroponics, and the relatively high water consumption in both soil and hydroponic cultures. The aeroponic system was found to be an efficient way for maximizing plant density per square meter. In addition, water consumptive use was as efficient as that of the hydroponics. A simple construction for the use of "A, Shape" aeroponic in vegetable production is discussed. Some problems occurred and suggestion for overcoming them were discussed. Nutrient analysis showed a significant increase in K, Cu and Mn in the sun side compared to the shade, while the contrary occurred for N and Zn.
