Abstract

The role of endogenous auxin, gibberellins and abscisic acid in regulating bud, flower andimmature pod shedding in Vicia_ faba plants as result of CCC-treatments were investigated. Abscisic acid levels increased during shedding, whereas auxin and aibberellins decreased remarkably. Seed soaking at 100, 250 and 500 ppm CCC increased ABA at the beginning and| at full blooming, then decreased during pod shedding, whereas auxin and gibberelins showed are markable increase at the poriod of pod shedding.
