Eissa, hany; Obeed, Hadeer;

Abstract

This paper examines two Figures from Al-Qudabā', Al-Qawādi (Basyūn). They are currently preserved in the storeroom of the Egyptian Museum (No.31888 & CG 677). They are associated with Wah-ib-Ra, one of the senior statesmen during the reign of King Wah-ib-Ra in the 26th Dynasty, who held a prestigious position at the royal court. This article examines the style, iconography, names, and titles of the owner. It also aims to investigate the meaning of his names and titles. Wah-ib-Ra held numerous important positions, and historical evidence, supported by archaeological findings, suggests that he was one of the most prominent warriors of the Twenty-Sixth Dynasty.
