ABSTRACT
Background : Dysregulation of the FGF -23 – Klotho endocrine axis may be
involved in the mechanism by which CKD patient's fail to maintain phosphate
homeostasis. In fact serum FGF-23 Level are increased with advancing stages of
CKD.
