Biography
Dr. Ashraf A. Mohamed has received his M. Sc. in Analytical Chemistry in 1991, from Ain Shams University, Egypt. During 1993-1995, he joined the department of applied chemistry, Yamanashi University, Kofu, Japan and granted a Ph. D. in Analytical Chemistry in 1995. He was appointed as an associate professor in 2002 and as a full professor of analytical chemistry in 2008. He served as the director of the studies and consultation center during 2014-2016 and as a vice-dean of community service and environmental affairs during 2016-2019, at the Faculty of Science, Ain Shams University. His current research interests include digital imaging sensors in analytical chemistry; paper-based microfluidics; optical sensors; kinetic and catalytic analysis, analytical applications of nanomaterials, molecularly imprinted polymers; layered double hydroxides; nanozymes and nanomaterials in water treatment and analysis.
