Abstract
Epilepsy is one of the most common chronic neurological conditions. The impact of epilepsy extends well beyond the direct effects of seizures and includes a number of challenges, which may lead to disability and severely reduced quality of life. People with epilepsy can face diminished social support and family function, cognitive challenges, medical and psychiatric co morbidities, and stigmatization. So, it is important to understand and to work to improve quality of life for people with epilepsy.
Aim of the study:
This study amis to:
- Assess the factors affecting quality of life for patients with epilepsy and identify factors affecting their quality of life through:
1-Assessment of patients’ demographic characteristics.
2-Assessment of patient's knowledge related to the disease.
3-Assessment of patient's factors affecting quality of life.
4-Assessment of patient's quality of life.
