Abstract


All the countries of the world in our time are facing the challenge of entering the civilization of advanced technology, Internet is one of the technological tools that has brought about a tremendous paradigm shift, as a result of the availability of information and knowledge in all fields of science and life, which the user readily and in a short time obtains, to become an urgent need that the individual seeks to satisfy.
Despite the many and endless advantages of this network, it is not without risks and damages, and Kimberly Young is one of the first to highlight problems associated with internet use such as social isolation, depression and psychological alienation, in addition to studying the phenomenon of internet addiction.
The problem of study:
The problem of the study is to detect the extent of a link between digital addiction and the use of electronic newspapers by young people and the satisfactions achieved by them, and to detect the variables affecting that relationship if it exists. The research problem can be formulated in a set of sub-research questions, namely:
1. What is the role of the Internet in the lives of the study sample youth?
2. How do young people follow online newspapers?
3. Why do young people prefer some newspapers over others?
4. What are the reasons why young people follow the electronic newspapers and the satisfactions achieved by them?
Study assignments
1. There is a correlation between digital addiction and young readers of electronic newspapers.
2. There is a correlation between digital addiction and young people's use of electronic newspapers
3. There is a correlation between digital addiction and the satisfactions of young people's use of electronic newspapers.
Methodological procedures for the study:
1. Sample study: The study was conducted on a sample of the young people who browse the electronic newspapers consisting of 400
