Biography
Dr. Radwa Ramadan is an Associate Professor of English Literature and currently serves as Head of the English Department at the Faculty of Women, Ain Shams University. Since October 2019, she has also led the Scientific Publishing Unit at the Faculty of Women, promoting academic research and international publication. She teaches a range of postgraduate courses, including American Literature, Post-colonial Literature, Modern Poetry, and Methods of Research. Dr. Ramadan has an extensive publication record in poetry and American literature. Her recent co-authored article, "The Rebirth of People and Earth: COVID-19 as a Healer in Kitty O’Meara‘s Picturebook And the People Stayed Home" (Journal of Ecohumanism, 2024), explores ecological renewal and healing through children’s literature. She has published extensively in national and international journals and presented her work at academic conferences globally, including NeMLA (Canada) and LIES (Poland). Beyond teaching and research, Dr. Ramadan actively contributes to editorial work as Associate Editor for several peer-reviewed journals, and she serves on multiple faculty and institutional committees. She has also played a leading role in organizing national and international conferences.
