										        Yasmine M. Afify received her Ph.D. from the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences, Ain Shams University, Egypt. 
She is now a lecturer at the Information Systems department, Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences, Ain Shams University.
She is a referee for several international journals and conferences.
Her main research interests include Information Retrieval, Bioinformatics, Social Networks, and Knowledge Management.
