A master's thesis was registered under the title Studies on the development of new varieties of garlic The study included chemical and radiological treatments with the aim of causing genetic mutations that improve the quality of Egyptian garlic.
Then during the PhD period in Ain Shams university, the thesis was related to production new hybrid of strawberry focusing on selection quality traits and yield using tissue culture technique.
New hybrids have been obtained with excellent export specifications, and work has been done to propagate them in the tissue culture center at the Strawberry Development Center and non-traditional crops.
After obtaining a doctorate from Ain Shams University, the same field was taken care of, and God Almighty granted us the position of Director of the Strawberry and Non-Traditional Crops Development Center The laboratories attached to the center were developed and the production capacity was raised to about 250,000 seedlings of paulownia, bananas, strawberries, and potatoes. In addition, I worked as the principal investigator for a research project entitled (Development of Local Strawberry Crosses) funded by Ain Shams University
