Biography
Dr. Hassan is a Professor of Concrete Structures at Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt. He received his Ph.D. and M.Sc. from the University of Manitoba, Canada in 2002 and 1998, respectively. His research includes analysis and design of highrise concrete buildings, non-linear finite element analysis of concrete structures and the use of fiber reinforced polymers in strengthening concrete structures. He has published over 70 research papers in the field of reinforced and prestressed concrete design.
