Biography
Dr Ahmed Maamoun is an associate professor at Ain Shams University, Faculty of Engineering, in the Physics and Mathematics Engineering Department (Chemistry Division). He specializes in polymer/materials chemistry, with research spanning sustainable polymeric systems, nanocomposites, bio-based polyurethane foams, and advanced functional materials for environmental and energy applications. With a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry and a strong publication record in high-impact journals, Dr. Maamoun has contributed significantly to fields such as acoustic and thermal insulation, triboelectric nanogenerators, recycling of polymer waste, and multifunctional material design.
