Abstract


Necrtizing Enterocolitis(NEC) is a common gastrointestinal emergency.Prematurity is major risk factor . Pathogenesis is poorly understood but appears to be multi factorial . NEC is suspected clinically and confirmed by laboratory and radiological studies.
