Abstract


Nutrition plays a big role in human helath, atheraputic diet is always based on the normal nutritional requirements for aparticular patients, it is modified only as the specific disease in the specific individual necessitates.

This study was designed for assessment the nutritional status in patients with angina pectoris, thrombotic, hypertension and atherosclerosis. In the university hospital. Minufya University.

Aiming of this study:-


1- Historial study about heart disease.


2- The nutritional factor effecting on heart disease. in sample


3- Identification of the relationship between educational level and heart disease.in group under study.


4- Studding the relationship between socioeconomic status and patient disease.


5- Studying the anthropometric measurements of patients under study.


6- The suitable suggests to improve the nutritional status of sample patients.


This study included 140 patient who were chosen randomly from the patients attending out patients university hospital with illness in the heart.

Food items constituting each meal for each patient were recorded for

24 hours recall.
