Abstract
Mould modification for increasing casting speed in continuous casting process of steel grade 60 which in-turn increases productivity was carried out.
Increasing the mould length from 780 mm to WOOmm increases the
casting speed from 3m/min to 3.5 rn!min, which improves productivity by 16%. I.e. 80 million L.E profit value per year.
