A study of Ferroresonance Phenomenon in Power Systems
Esam Ali Ali Saafan;
Abstract
In this chapter suitable mitigation means for the risk of ferroresonanc phenomenon are discussed in details.
On the hand of a practical case study resistive and inductive ferroresonance suppression circuits have been designed, implemented, and checked as mitigation means. In the design of the elements (resistors or inductors) not only the suppressing of ferroresonance overvoltages has been taken into consideration but also the power dissipated in the circuit.
