Abstract


Dramatic explosion m coronary artery stent utilization occurred in the last few years , adressing many limitations of the conventional PTCA . Although coronary stenting eliminated many of these risks , it may induce many acute changes in the coronary vessels which might be very deleterious to the patients . coronary artery stenting seems to be the commonest cardiac interventional procedure nowadays in our cardiac catheterization laboratory our laboratory experience in the coronary stenting has been growing day after day . The . rates of acute post stenting angiographic changes versus complications were found to be similar to those occurred m other trials in the literature Also the rate of acute procedural success was very •satisfactory relative to that is written in the literature . Aim of the work : as the current study • was looking for the acute angiographic changes after coronary stenting ; we found that optimal stent deployment with smooth
