Three-phase PWM drive system with closed-loop control

Abstract
An improved precise method for direct PWM control of an inverter-fed three-phase induction drive is described. A fast algorithm for direct digital on-line calculation of the required pulse widths for totally eliminated bands of harmonics is demonstrated. Results show that the closed-loop response of an induction motor over a wide range of selected frequencies, with low total harmonic content, can be attainable. This method has a wide application for a.c. drive systems.
