Abstract


This research study examined the reinforced concrete flat slabs behavior under concentric punching loading that investigated by using test experiments. The results of the test experiments showed the punching behavior at corner column, the effect of presence of shear reinforcement and the effect of column aspect ratio on the punching behavior.
The provisions of the different international codes evaluate and summarize the strength of the punching shear for corner slab-column connections with axial load.
