Madeha Ahmed Riad Abd El Aziz;
Abstract
The present study aimed to address a potential impact of low level exposure of binary mixture of preservatives as butyl paraben (BP) and triclosan on juvenile male reproductive system.
For this purpose (80 rats) young male albino rats, weighing (50 - 58g) of age 3 weeks. were obtained and categorized as follow:
Group (1): Control: animals received a daily 5 ml kg-1, p.o corn oil for 8 weeks (n=20).
Group (2): Buty paraben: animals received a daily 5 ml kg-1, p.o of butyl paraben (50mg/kg body wt was dissolved in corn oil 0.5%) for 8 weeks (n=20).
Group (3): Triclosan: animals received a daily 5 ml kg-1, p.o of triclosan (50mg/kg body wt was dissolved in corn oil 0.5%) 8 weeks (n=20).
