Study on the antimicrobial activity of some plants

Doaa Mohamed Moawad El-Tahan;

Abstract

The present work was initiated by collection of plant parts (fruits and seeds of Citrullus colocynthis, Cucurbita pepo and leaves of Moringa oleifera), followed by preparation of the methanolic crude extracts. The crude extracts then were subjected to evaluation for their biological activities as antibacterial activities.
Furthermore, crude extracts were subjected to successive fractionation using different solvents with different polarities.
