Abstract


Pressure ulcer is a lesion caused by prolonged pressure, friction, shear, and moisture against the skin. Prevention is better than cure and prevention of pressure ulcer requirement of early identification of patients at risk and rapid implementation of prevention interventions was very important. Nursing team members are responsible for direct and continuous care related to pressure ulcer prevention by skin assessment and care, keep moving of patients by repositioning, manage and good nursing care of incontinence and adequate nutrition and fluid intake.
Aim of the study:
This study aimed to assess factors affecting prediction of pressure ulcer among patients at critical care unites through.
1- Assess factors affecting prediction of pressure ulcer among patients at critical care unites.
2- Develop Suggested nursing care plan for prediction of pressure ulcer among patients at critical care unites.
